* The 29 chapters in Martini/Nath Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology, Eighth Edition have been streamlined to 26 chapters in this slim version. The chapters titled “The Axial Skeleton” and “The Appendicular Skeleton” in the bigger book have been combined into one chapter titled “The Skeleton”; the chapters titled “Neural Integration I” and “Neural Integration II” in the bigger book have been combined into one chapter titled “Neural Integration”; and the chapter titled “Development and Inheritance” in the bigger book has been entirely eliminated.
* The Clinical Notes in Martini/Nath Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology, Eighth Edition have been made more concise without losing any of the core clinical topics (e.g., diabetes, AIDS, cancer).
* The Aging section toward the end of certain chapters in Martini/Nath Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology, Eighth Edition has been eliminated.
* Some Focus sections in Martini/Nath Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology, Eighth Edition have been eliminated (e.g., Focus: Types of Fractures), while others have been integrated into the chapter narrative in order to retain the detailed coverage.
