Cutaneous Adnexal Tumors is a comprehensive text and includes all recognized variants covering the broad spectrum of adnexal tumor pathology. Also included are chapters dealing with site-specific lesions such as the eyelid, neck, navel, and the anogenital area. This latter is not available in any of the currently available textbooks. Some chapters, for example, lesions of the anogenital mammary-like glands, are quite original, the topic not having been previously included in dermatopathology textbooks. All subject matter is illustrated with numerous high-quality photomicrographs. In addition, wherever relevant, clinical photographs are included. There is also a separate chapter that discusses inherited syndromes associated with cutaneous adnexal tumors, which includes relevant molecular genetic data. The book is intended primarily for bench work but also provides an extremely useful handbook for dermatologists wishing to have a better understanding of adnexal tumor pathology.
